About the Project

First, we meticulously cleaned the chimney’s top surface to ensure a solid foundation. Then, we constructed a formwork around the chimney, carefully assembling and securing it. Inside the formwork, we laid a reinforcement mesh for added strength. After preparing a mixture of high-strength concrete, we applied bonding adhesive to both the chimney’s surface and the formwork edges.

We poured the concrete, spreading and smoothing it with a trowel to create a seamless surface with a gentle slope for water runoff. Once the concrete cured, we removed the formwork, revealing the newly formed chimney crown. Finally, we cleared away any excess material, leaving behind a durable chimney crown ready to protect against water

About the Project

Our project began with the demolition of the old fireplace we carefully removing each component to make way for the installation of a new fireplace insert. We seamlessly integrated the new insert into the existing space, ensuring a snug fit and proper ventilation. Next, we started on the construction of the new fireplace, laying each brick and mortar to create a sturdy and visually appealing structure.

Every step of the way our team worked with the homeowner from the selection of materials to the final touches. The result is a stunning new fireplace that not only enhances the aesthetic of the room but also provides efficient heating and a cozy ambiance for years to come.

About the Project

Gutter cleaning is an essential maintenance task for any home or building, crucial for preventing water damage and maintaining the integrity of the structure. We begin by clearing any debris, such as leaves, twigs, and dirt, from the gutters and downspouts. We remove blockages and ensure proper water flow.

Once the gutters are thoroughly cleaned, we conduct a final inspection to ensure all debris is removed and the system is functioning correctly. By investing in regular gutter cleaning, we help safeguard the property against potential water-related issues and preserve its value and longevity.

About the Project

Copper chimney flashing is the most durable type of flashing, with the longest service life. Properly maintained and serviced, it can last the life of your roof. It also has the advantage of being solderable, for a watertight seal. Copper can also be embedded in fresh mortar and won’t degrade, even in mortar that’s continuously saturated. Our flashing is custom made for your chimney out of 16 oz. sheet copper.

The top of the counter flashing is sunk into the mortar joint between the bricks in the chimney and then bent downward at a 90 degree angle. This joint is then sealed with caulk. The joints between the separate plates are also caulked.
